Contrary to media reports indicating the Kanyamunyu brothers have been released on bail today, the judiciary spokesperson Solomon Muyita says that is not true.
Actually, the two and girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari are still in prison until March 28, the day on which their bail hearing is scheduled for hearing before High Court Judge Yasin Nyanzi.
Prosecution alleges that in November, last year, the trio and other accomplices still at large, while on Kampala- Jinja Road near Malik Car Bond, opposite Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) offices, in Nakawa Division, ‘with malice aforethought caused the death of Kenneth Akena’.
