Singer Moze Radio is in trouble over allegedly throwing a DJ’s laptop into a swimming pool.

According to the latest on our desk, the ‘Nera’ hitmaker has been instructed to pay Shs56 million to DJ Lubega Moses whose, laptop was allegedly thrown in the swimming pool.

According to a notice of intention to sue, a copy which is in our possession, Lubega’s employer’s Real Sounds through Sam Kabanda Advocates & Solicitors the money is cater for the loses suffered when Radio threw among other things a laptop and his hard disk into the swimming pool.

“The said laptop had all the different types of music in an organised selection for all the different functions/ events. It was precisely our clients’ stock in trade/business… The external hard disk whose capacity is 2 terabits was substantially also lost within the same scuffle,” reads the notice.

He has been given 14 days to pay or face court.

According to Lubega, it all began on May 28, 2017 at the last funeral rites of Ivan Ssemwanga when Radio moved to his box and instructed him by way of coercion to play his songs. Lubega says he politely informed him that he was governed by the Master of Ceremony from who he gets instructions, thereby directing Radio to him.

“Being the person we are reliably informed you are, you furiously snatched and or pulled out our client’s laptop from the DJ’s BOX, his hard disk and threw it in the Swimming pool.”

However, Radio denied the allegations requesting for anyone who filmed him throwing the laptop in the pool to come forward.

“I only saw my name trending in the headlines, then I was so excited and expecting to watch my self-throwing a laptop, little did I know that all smart phone users are bloggers and journalists who can’t provide news with evidence. Surprisingly they managed to record my speech on video but their forged scene wasn’t recorded oba why?”
