The new Minister of State for Tourism, Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda experienced the wariest orientation any Uganda minister could ask for while officiating at his first official ceremony in Entebbe.
The Mityana North legislator who also doubles as Buganda Parliamentary caucus chairman was involuntarily tasked into carrying a python during the Entebbe Tourism Association (ETA) expo at the Mayor’s Gardens on Sunday July 3rd.
To help him overcome his fears was close colleague and Entebbe Mayor Vincent De Paul Kayanja.
The expo was organized by the ETA in conjunction with Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) and the Entebbe Municipality.
Hundreds of people from and around Entebbe attended the expo that also saw UWEC showing a variety of animals.
