President Yoweri Museveni will this Saturday September 10, grace the pass out of police Cadets and constables.
According to police spokesperson Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Andrew Felix Kaweesi, this year’s pass out will see 1226 Cadets and 2685 constables graduate, after undergoing a 9-month training at the Police Training School, Kabalye in Masindi district.
Responding to a question about the increase in the advertised number of cadets from 500 to the current 1226, AIGP Kaweesi said the force had taken the decision after realizing the need for their services and ability to cater for them.
