The remains of the former Bishop of Arua Diocese Fredrick Drandua will be laid to rest tomorrow at Ediofe Cathedral in West Nile.
Bishop Emeritus Drandua died at Nsambya Hospital on Thursday, September 1, after succumbing to high blood pressure and diabetes. Born in August 1943 in Uleppi parish of the Nebbi Catholic Diocese, Bishop Drandua was ordained priest on August 9, 1970. He retired on August 19, 2009, after serving the Roman Catholic Church for 39 years.
Appointed Bishop in May 1986, the late Drandua was 73 years at the time of his death.
