Maverick Kawempe councilor Muhammad Ssegirinya has been out of the country for close to two weeks. Actually, last week’s eviction of traders from Park Yard market didn’t find him in the country. But we can confirm the cantankerous councilor will be in the country by the day’s end, and Kampala Minister Beti Kamya is his ‘first target’ on return.
Kamya is the Minister of Kampala, who ordered for the eviction of traders from Park Yard Market. Over 5000 traders were evicted from the market that has been in operation for over three decades.
“Happening now Schiphol Airport Netherlands. Alaba ku Betty (sic) Kamya amugambe nti omusajja ajja (Whoever sees Beti Kamya inform her that I am on my way),” he warned.
