Sure Deal beauty center closed over alleged fake beauty products
According to the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), officials of Sure Deal have been fraudulently using their Quality Mark.
‘The products are dangerous and can cause serious effects to one’s health including cancer amongst other diseases’, a UNBS release states in part.
Earlier, UNBS Market Surveillance Inspectors raided offices of Sure Deal Beauty Center at Senana Building on Buganda Road and confiscated tonnes of cosmetics, which allegedly contained mercury and hydroquinone.
