Confederation of African Football, has officially released the cash benefits of all teams that participated at Chan in Morocco.
Uganda Cranes which finished 3rd in group stages is earning US $125,000 and not what was rumored earlier.
Other teams moving away with cash are Morocco which is pocketing US $750,000 as the hosts and champions, the second team Nigeria which moved with the silver medal will also pocket US $400,000 and the semifinalist Sudan who moved with the bronze medal and Libya which was fourth will all take US $250,000 each.In addition to the above, the teams that made it to the quarter final that is to say Angola,Congo,Namibia,Zambia, will pocket US $175,000 each.
According to CAF executive committee member Amaju Pinnick said” no team has received its share yet but in a few weeks after auditing the teams will get the money”
