The campaign aims at bringing together the most influential and tech savvy millennials with a platform to interact, network and promote their various fields of specialty including youth-generated business ideas within the country.

The youth having a blast

Despite the party initially being an invite only affair, the Legends grounds were already heavily packed by 8:30pm as word got out and more youths kept pouring in. A surprise performance form local artiste ‘The Myth’ kicked off the night that had free food and beers served to the guests, further making it memorable for many youths trying to make it in the information sector.

Indeed, the ‘No Fear’ campaign and theme of the night was instrumental in reassuring the youths that with the new MTN Pulse bundles they wouldn’t have to fear missing out on anything, anymore!

The event, a huge success was jam-packed with attendees from all corners of the nation looking to interact, make a few new friends and most certainly, a guaranteed fun time. The event also provided a catering and ushering services that were also handled by youth owned businesses and initiatives, further giving credibility to the purpose of the campaign: identifying and promoting the youth.

MTN Pulse will be able to allow them do gaming, listen to music, create sharable video content, get the latest updates to parties and offer data bundles that suit all their plans,” Wim Vanhelleputte, Chief Executive Officer MTN Uganda.

Olivier Prentout, the Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Uganda said the ‘No Fear’ will ensure that the youth are offered the right and necessary tools required for the advancement of technology and innovation within Uganda.

“The young people like living life on the edge, looking for opportunities to grow and associating with success. With MTN Pulse, we offer them a dynamic gateway to express themselves and interact freely. We would like them to use the movement to seize the opportunities with #NoFear,” Prentout said.

“For the first time ever, we are introducing a weekend bundle that can only be accessed through our Pulsers community code *157# and the MTN Pulse website on pulse.mtn.co.ug. We understand that the weekend is filled with activities that must be shared. Those moments can now be shared with an affordable youth friendly weekend bundle,” Prentout added.
