MUBS produces best overall student ahead of 70th MAK Graduation

Makerere University Business School’s Namukose Rita has emerged as the best overall and best student in the Humanities of the 70th Graduation Ceremony of Makerere University slated to run from 14th to 17th January 2020.

Namukose obtained a CGPA of 4.92 in the Bachelor of International Business of Makerere University and will graduate during the third session on 16th January 2020.

This if the fifth consecutive year that MUBS is producing the best overall student.

In 2019 during the 69th Graduation MUBS’ Ms. Namuwaya Hajarah Ali, who graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Computing, scored the highest CGPA of 4.94.

On 18th January 2018, Namyenya Caroline scooped the best overall and best Humanities honours after scoring a CGPA of 4.95 in the Bachelor of Commerce.

In 2017, Sarah Namboozo who graduated with a first class degree in Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a CGPA 4.92 was the best overall and best Sciences student.

During the 66th Graduation Ceremony of 2016, Mr. Tabani Rashid who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from MUBS scored a CGPA of 4.91, emerging as the best overall and best student in the Humanities.

A total of 13,509 students are set to graduate during the 70th Graduation Ceremony of Makerere University. The four-day event will be held from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th January 2020 at freedom square.
