The East Africa Law Society-EALS has appointed Mr. David Sigano as their acting Chief Executive officer (CEO).
“The East Africa Law Society (EALS) informs its members, partners, and other stakeholders of the immediate appointment of Mr. David Sigano as its Acting CEO,” Bernard Oundo, the President of East Africa Law Society said in a statement.
Mr. Sigano has, until now, been the Society’s Programs Manager. He is an experienced administrator with a Master of Laws degree from Nottingham Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi.
He replaces Mr. Hanningtone Amol whose contract period came to an end.
“The East Africa Law Society has embarked on the search for a substantive CEO and will communicate officially regarding a competitive hiring process.”
“We thank Mr. Hanningtone Amol for his service and wish him all the best in the next phase of his career,” the statement further read.
