For those that thought that by closing his Crane bank would make him slow down on his investment, they should rethink again as East African richest tycoon has proven that the sky is the limit to his investment venture.
Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, the property mogul is set to start the construction of 200 roomed Kingdom Hotel.
The hotel project which will kick start in 2023 will be set up within the boundaries of Kingdom Kampala, along Nile Avenue.
“The hotel will be known as Kingdom Kampala and we start work in 2023 and finish in 2026. It will have 200 rooms including suites and penthouses plus 226 very high-end apartment. It will occupy total of 110,000 square meters and it will have 35 conference rooms.
This property is located between three main roads- Nile Avenue, Yusuf Lule Road and Dewinton Road in the Central Business District.
The Ruparelia Group through its real estate arm- Meera Investments Limited, owns a string of hotels and more upscale commercial properties in and around Kampala.
