Fred Kajoba has resigned from his position as the Head Coach of Vipers Sports Club.
Kajoba leaves the club third on the 16-table log with 56 points, two behind leaders Express FC and into the quarterfinal of the Stanbic Uganda Cup. Vipers travel to SC Villa at the Bombo Barracks grounds on Wednesday in the Uganda Cup with a 1-1 first leg result.
“The Vipers Sports Club Management has this evening received news of the verbal notice of resignation from its Head Coach Mr. Fred Kajoba Kisitu after today’s evening training session,” Vipers said in a statement on Monday evening.
“The club management shall be sitting at the earliest to consider these developments and a detailed statement shall be issued thereafter.”
“In the meantime, the playing staff and other members of the technical bench are in high spirits and preparing for the club’s forthcoming competitive engagements in the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup competitions.”
