Uganda peoples’ Defence Forces and the entire National Resistance Army/Movement is mourning the passing on of Maj.Gen. Stephen Rwabantu.
He died of short illness at a Kampala hospital
Rwabantu whose army number was RO/0081 joined the rebellion in 1981 and by the time of his death, he was the Deputy Commander UPDF Reserve Force.

In March this year Rwabantu warned the opposition they (NRA) would not hesitate to reign in on anyone who tried to destabilise the country
