His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje, the Mufti has expressed deep sorrow upon the sad news of the passing of Haj Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige commonly know as BMK.
In his condolence message delivered on his own behalf and the Management of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council- UMSC, the Mufti described the deceased as a gallant son of Uganda and industrious Muslim of our times.
“BMK wished every one well and was the spirit that provided him with gifted hands in business from scratch to initiate Mega Plans that later developed into bigger enterprises including Hotels of international standards that have offered employment to many people in East Africa and beyond,” Mufti said
Sheikh Mubajje also noted that late has left glowing contributions towards the development of Islam in Uganda and has constructed many Mosques including sparing prayers rooms on his commercial premises including Hotels, building schools, fixing boreholes and according lasting respect for the dead when he purchased land for a Muslim cemetery at Nkowe along Wakiso Hoima-Highway.
“We will always look at the late Haj Bulaimu as a role model, nationalist and an accomplished African Hotelier and Entrepreneur of the highest standard, a Muslim Philanthropist and Author,” he said.
Adding that “Ooh Almighty Allah we beseech you by your divine p to bless the soul of your departed Servant Bulaimu Kibirige. Comfort his family during this time of sorrow and we pray that his departure never be a source of trial for his people.”
“Truly we came from you and to you we return.”
