Kampala Standard PS calls for enrollment and holiday makers special skilling for learners

Kampala Standard Primary and Nursery School located in Kyanja has called upon parents to take their children for enrollment and has also organized a ‘Holiday Makers Special Skilling Package’ for pupils on the outskirts of Kampala to attain off-class special training and skills.

The enrollment of the pupils is underway. However, the interviews for the new entrants will commence on December 2 to 10, 2023.

The package offered to the learners includes local curriculum incorporated with international packages, Sound Academic System, teaching of international languages like French, Kiswahili and Chinese and also Religious Programs.

Under the Holiday Makers Special Skilling Package, learners aged 5-14 years who subscribe to this special training will gain skills in Catering, Computer Training, Soccer and Swimming, all at a fee of Shs200,000 only per participant.

Under the Catering package, learners will be trained in cake making, baking daddies, cooking tomato sauce and jam, among others, while under the computer skilling package; they will be trained in basic computer applications, Photoshop and graphic design, as well as video editing.

In the special sports package, pupils will receive free soccer training (on artificial turf), and swimming lessons, all conducted by the Kentim Sports Academy.

The Kampala Standard primary School pupils have been offered a discount of 50 percent.

The study period will start on January 8, to February 2, 2024 under the facilitation of Makerere Business School and Innovations Centre, in partnership with Kentim Entrepreneurship Centre, in Kyanja.

Besides academics, Kampala Standard Primary School extends special programs for children in collaboration with UK and USA-based schools and organisations, the programs include exchange visits between UK, USA and Ugandan teachers and pupils.

The school also has a young Engineers program that helps to boost pupils’ critical thinking and lots of co-curricular activities that include swimming, scouting, sports, and agriculture value addition among others.
