The Uganda Police Force has beaten some supporters of opposition leader Kizza Besigye’s party as they celebrated his return. Some police men on a police patrol truck whose number plate is UP 4916 are seen canning road side supporters in a move to clear the road for a convoy to pass.
The video which was first shared on the FDC twitter page shows supporters whose bodies were shocked by random canes they received from policemen who were on board a moving police patrol vehicle. An identified lady is heard saying, “how can the police beat people like that.”
This all come in the wake of Kizza Besigye’s release from Luzira prison on bail. Here is the video.
