Little children, youth and adults were all brought under one roof to enjoy the love for nature and dance along to the Green vibes.
On Sunday September 11, at the Kololo Airstrip the attractive children event dubbed the Green Festival organised by Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green and My Kid is Superstar, went down in history as a darling to not only children, Youth but also adults.
The annual green event is based and aimed at environment conservation in an educational package through fun and exciting way. It is hinged on fronting children as environment conservation agents and the lead actors in the fight against climate change.
At the helm of the show, Little Tammy did songs such as ‘Alindani’ and ‘be happy’. Along with various performers was Anita with Yesu, Mercy and Rocky Migal also did something for the children. There were acrobatics dancers before Fefe Busi, Sheeba, Roden Y came on stage to sing for the children.
Children invaded Sheeba and surrounded her, limiting her performance as they sang and danced with her as she was obviously a darling. Unlike other previous editions, there was no zoo this time round.
Bouncing castles, swings, face paintings, camel riding were some of the main activities during the day.
Mixing the One’s and two’s was Deejay Roja, Slick Stuart and DJ Mercy who played the music all the way.
