Ivan Ssemwanga’s death unites sworn enemies

Must read

The death of singer Juliana Kanyomoozi’s son in 2014 will always be remembered for having re-united sworn enemies; Juliana and Irene Namubiru who surprised many when she offered the former a shoulder to lean on at a time when she needed it most.

Ever since that time, the two have remained friends, very close friends and of recent they even attend social events together.

Well, the death of socialite Ivan Ssemwanga has also united Zari and her sworn enemy, socialite Judith Heard.

On getting the news of Ssemwanga’s death, Heard was among the first people to send condolences to Zari.

“Words cannot express my sadness. May the comfort of God help you through this difficult time,” she wrote.

This came as a shock to many.

Later in the day she posted on her social media, “It is true that God also needs good people to manage his work in heaven. Otherwise why would He have called you (Ssemwanga) all of a sudden? He must have known that you are such a great person and can handle any situation. REST IN PEACE IVAN,” she wrote.

Unlike many who grieve with others only on social media, she took it a step further by attending Ssemwanga’s vigil, and spent the night there.

For every long time Zari and Judith Heard haven’t been seeing eye to eye, with each claiming is richer than the other. Their beef peaked when both took to the same business, selling clothes and Jewelry. Zari’s shop was at Garden City while Judith Heard’s was on Forest Mall. Unfortunately both shops closed, literally sending the two into parties.

Zari has been hosting the ‘Zari All White Party’ while Judith Heard hosted ‘Arab Money Party’ almost on the same dates.
