“General Abraham succumbed to his injuries that were inflicted by thugs of Juba and died today 22nd April 2012 in Kampala, Uganda,” partly reads the statement issued on April 22.
The opposition movement described the deceased as a “decorated and renowned freedom fighter” who sacrificed his life for the people.
“The assassination of Gen. Abraham bears the hallmarks of Juba regime and its brutal national security are the prime suspects. SSNMC/A strongly condemned this barbaric and coward act by the elements of the Juba regime,” further stressed the statement.
The SSNMC/A leadership extended its heartfelt condolences to the entire movement, immediate family members and friends of the deceased.Efforts by this website to a comment from police were unsuccessful as police publicist Fred Enanga didn’t answer his phones.
