National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is mourning one of his personal body guards Frank Ssenteza.
Ssenteza is alleged to have been knocked dead by an army vehicle in Kyengera as the team rushed a journalist to Rubaga Hospital.
“Ssenteza Frank, a personal bodyguard to @HEBobiwine has been deliberately knocked dead by a military truck No H4DF 2424 in Busega as we drove from Masaka to Kampala to get further treatment for Kasirye Ashraf, who was shot in the head by police in Masaka” NUP party posted on their social media platforms.
Bobi Wine addressed the gathering at Rubaga Hospital where he had rushed with the team said it was a sad moment for him and the team before breaking down in tears saying “What will I tell the parents of these children”.
Adding “Ashraf Kasirye, a journalist with Ghetto TV & good friend shot on the head by police as they blocked me! He is in a critical condition. We are hoping against hope that he will live. Gen. Museveni and the criminals he orders to kill us will have to account for these atrocities. What a sad day”
Two other journalists Ali Mivuule from NTV and Daniel Lutaaya from NBS were also reported shot at and by press time, they were receiving treatment in Masaka.
