Police have arrested and detained former KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka, Deputy Executive Director David Luyimbazi, and former Director of Public Health and Environment, Dr Daniel Okello.
Police Spokesperson, Kituma Rusoke confirmed the detention of the Ex KCCA top managers after being summoned last week by the CID.
“As we communicated on Monday, October 14, 2024, that we had summoned former Deputy Executive Director David Luyimbazi, and former Director of Public Health and Environment, Dr Daniel Okello,” Rusoke stated on his X (formerly Twitter).
The above have appeared at the CID headquarters today (Wednesday), October 16, 2024 and engaged with our team.
Arising from the ongoing prosecution-led investigation, the three former officials of KCCA have been detained and will be arraigned before courts of law.
They are held in different police cells in Kampala as sources say they will be arraigned before court tomorrow- Thursday.
