The Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu of Busoga, Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi have welcomed their third son, Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah.

The royal couple announced the birth of the prince, who was born on November 1, 2026, describing the occasion as a moment of immense joy and gratitude to God.

In a remarkable coincidence, the newborn prince shares his birthday with his father, the Kyabazinga, making the occasion particularly special for the royal family and the entire Busoga Kingdom.

“With immense joy and gratitude to Almighty God, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi, the Inhebantu of Busoga, proudly announce the birth of their third son, Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah, who was born on November 1, 2026,” the royal announcement reads.

The royal family also confirmed that both the Inhebantu and the newborn prince are in excellent health following the birth.

The announcement was accompanied by a biblical message from Psalm 127:3, which describes children as a blessing from God.

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him,” the royal family quoted from the Bible.

The Kyabazinga and the Inhebantu also expressed appreciation to the people of Busoga, relatives, friends, and well-wishers for their prayers, love, and goodwill during this period.

“The Royal Family extends heartfelt appreciation to the people of Busoga, family, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, love and goodwill during this joyous occasion,” the announcement states.

The birth adds another member to the royal family, and the young prince shares a special birthday connection with his father, whose leadership is central to the Busoga Kingdom’s cultural identity and traditions.
