The Forest Stewardship Council International (FSC International), the investment arm of Quantum Global recently sealed a timber deal of US$250 million, the largest dedicated to timber investments in SubāSaharan Africa.
According to the FSC International, it is committed to responsible forest management by supporting investments that comply with the highest environmental and social standards in forestry.

Still a niche market for timber plantation investors, SubāSaharan Africa remains an underinvested market.
