Buyamba county MP in Rakai Amos Mandela loses seat in Parliament over lack of papers.
Masaka High Court judge, Lawrence Gidudu concurred with the petitioner Ivan Buwowe that Mr Buyamba doesn’t have the required academic papers to be a Member of Parliament.
In Jan, 2016 the Electoral Commission cleared academic papers of Amos Mandela, to contest as MP Candidate for Buyamba constituency.
Mr Mandela becomes the latest to loses the MP seat after the February 2016 general elections. over 25 legislators have been ejected from the August House over among others, voter bribery, lack of academic papers and non compliance with electoral laws.
