City socialite, Shanita Namuyimbwa aka Bad Black was reported dead over the weekend by various media platforms.
The news came at a time when Bad Black was still in hospital where she had been admitted in critical condition after she was badly beaten by her boyfriend, city model, Paddy Twijukye known by his peers as Shy Paddy, who had just been released from prison.
A few hours earlier the ‘Mad Guard’ singer had reported Shy Paddy to police accusing him of stealing Shs7million from her.
Shy Paddy denied the allegations, was briefly detained at Kabalagala Police Station and later released on police bond.
On regaining his freedom, apparently Paddy went straight to Bad Black’s home and beat her until she lost consciousness. However, we have established that she was discharged Sunday and her condition is steadily stabilizing.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Lule aka Spiderman, the 17 year old boy who attempted to commit suicide at Mabirizi complex in downtown Kampala, was also discharged from Mulago national referral hospital on Friday.
By the time he was discharged, Lule said he was not in pain. Doctors at Mulago have told Lule they will need to perform an operation on his left arm, which broke on impact when he fell on the car which was parked by the roadside.
A psychiatrist who carried out an assessment of Lule’s condition has also reportedly recommended that he visit Butabika hospital.
