Kampala International School granted Covid-19 Certificate of Compliance to reopen

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) has been granted a certificate of compliance following the fulfillment of all requirements for the opening for candidate classes and finalists.

The certificate was granted by the permanent secretary in the ministry of education and sport, Alex Kakooza upon the inspection of the school.

Last month President Yoweri Museveni ordered reopening of schools for final year students following closure in March this year. The closure according to president Museveni peddled at curbing the spread of the deadly covid-19 pandemic.

Social distancing in classes, wearing of masks and use of sanitizers are some of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will be followed when learning resumes.

KISU is number one international school which is owned by city tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia. KISU is looted in Bukoto, a suburb of Kampala and has over 600 students from all nationalities across the globe.
