The Kampala City Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago has been admitted to Aga Khan Hospital over an unrevealed illness.
According to his driver and personal assistant Yasin Ssali, the frail lawyer first received medical attention at Rubaga and Mulago Hospitals before being referred to Aga Khan Hospital.
He revealed that Lukwago yesterday boarded Uganda Airlines from Entebbe at 9 pm to Nairobi. “His condition is quite improving,” he added.
It is averred that the illness is arising from hot political temperatures in the Kampala city Mayoral race.
He is contesting against National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Nabila Naggayi Sempala, Innocent Kawooya (Independent), National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Dan Kazibwe and singer Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone.
