Kampala City Traders Association chairman Everest Kayondo has succumbed to #Covid-1
Mr Kayondo died this afternoon at Lifeline International Hospital in Zana, Kampala where he had been admitted with #Covid-19 on Saturday.
“He died this afternoon at Lifeline International Hospital in Zana. He was admitted on Saturday after testing positive with Covid-19,” Mr Abel Mwesigye, the Chief Executive Officer of KACITA told the media in an interview.
Kayondo has been instructmental in the welfare of city traders . He was also an investor in the tourism sector.
Kayondo’s death follows that of former Executive Director of Private Sector Foundation Gideon Badagawa also succumbed to the virus. Mr Badagawa also succumbed to #Covid-19.
