The department of planning and finance at the Federation of Uganda Football Association is in need of Shs500 million to help in preparations of African Nation Championship (CHAN) 2016 qualifiers against Sudan in two legged tie both home and away scheduled for Sept 17, at Nakivubo, and Sept 24, in Khartoum where the winner of both legs qualifies for CHAN 2016 that will be hosted in Kigali, Rwanda.
FUFA director of finance Mr. Decolas Kiiza while addressing the media told journalists that FUFA has already engaged the government to come to their rescue. He also expressed gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni and the government for the timely boost of Shs750 million to the Cranes on an away game against Comoros in the AFCON qualifier that the Cranes won by 1:0 goal scored by the Tony Mawejje.
