Makerere University has recommended the expulsion of 156 students.
according to sources that attended the Senate building meeting today afternoon, the decision to discount the students was reached after the university examinations board this afternoon said 156 students had performed far below the pass mark.
The students set to be discounted include those who have had a CGPA below 2.0 for three semesters, those who sat for the same papers thrice and students who were engaged in examination malpractice are also to be suspended till further notice.
