Motorists going to Metropole Hotel, Lower Kololo Terrace junction and the Uganda Golf Course, have been advised to use Mulago roundabout via Yusuf Lule or Kamwokya through Acacia via Lower Kololo Terrace roads.
Kampala Capital City Authority said the 200m section of Acacia Avenue road is under repair.
The China Railway Seventh is repairing the road from Metropole Hotel – Lower Kololo Terrace junction and the Fairway-Golf Course Junction which is nearing completion.
Acacia Avenue will be closed off to traffic on Saturday, 27 August 2016 starting 11pm through Sunday 28 August 2016 to allow for final touches on a 200m section along the road.
“The contractors have closed the road to avoid interference from motorists,” a KCCA official told EagleOnline.
