Two songwriters Martin Harrington and American Thomas Leonard sued the singer last June, claiming that Ed Sheeran’s song “Photograph” was a their song.
“Amazing”, which was recorded by Matt Cardle in 2012, in the legal documents the two song writers said the song was copied note to note however, the two songwriters where represented by Richard Busch the attorney who represented Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams on copyright infringement against Marvin Gaye’s family.
However this week Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard made the settlement with Ed Sheeran worthy £14million for copyright infringement and the Judge in California dismissed the case after settlement between the two parties and announced the two parties had reached an agreement. Ed Sheeran has not commented on the legal case.
