The social media account for the first son Major General Muhoozi Keinerugaba was hacked into this week by yet to be identified people.
The hackers started sharing content using his twitter account, sending his media team into panic.
“Friends, attempts were made early this evening to compromise de @mkainerugaba account. Appropriate measures have now been taken to secure it,” the spokesperson of Special Forces, Maj Chris Magezi tweeted Tuesday.
Their efforts indeed paid off as by the time of filing this story, Gen. Muhoozi had gained control over his account.
Muhoozi is President Yoweri Museveni’s son as well as his Senior Presidential Advisor in Charge of Special Operations.
He was formerly the commander of elite forces, the Special Forces Command (SFC) that is in charge of guarding the President, other VVIPs, Oil fields and other security installations.
