Juventus, the Serie A champions suffered the heartbreak of a final defeat to Barcelona two years ago in Berlin and last won the competition in 1996 under Marcello Lippi after beating Ajax 4-2 on penalties.
Real Madrid and Juventus have met once previously for the European title, with Madrid prevailing, 1-0 in 1998.
Real Madrid are looking forward to land their 12th European Cup and Juventus their 3rd in history.
