This morning, Daniel Ayiba was handed the keys to a brand new Toyota Premio after emerging winner in the 7th draw of the Airtel Mega Masappe promotion.
“God is good. Who knew I would ever win a car in this promotion!” the 25-year old Tororo resident exclaimed, while receiving the keys from outgoing Airtel Uganda Managing Director, Anwar Soussa, and amidst cheers from fellow winners – Damulira Herbert, Justin Sisubula, Maureen Nabisinde, David Obbo and Shamim Nakatude – who all rode away on brand new motor bikes.
Emmanuel Tumwesigye, a resident of Mityana, took home Shs1, 000,000 shillings cash.
Soussa congratulated the winners and commented about the importance of this campaign to Airtel Uganda and to the subscribers.
“As we informed you when we started this campaign, our aim was not only to reward our subscribers for their loyalty and dedication to our products and services, but also to change their lives for the better. I can attest today that Daniel’s life and occupation will not be the same – with a car, he can now be able to get to his patients in time and will not be limited by issues such as bad weather,” Soussa stated.
He encouraged all the subscribers who had not yet had an opportunity to win yet not to give up.
“…………We still have many cars, motor bikes and money for you to win,” he concluded.
As part of ‘Mega Masappe’, subscribers are required to opt into the promo by dialing *162# and selecting option 1 to opt in, option 2 to check target and option 3 to redeem their data bonus – which will be broken down into Voice, SMS and Data at 50%, 10% and 40% respectively. This bonus, however, does not apply to social packs, quarterly, annual and free bundles.
Mega Masappe promotion subscriber bonus will be given instantly on the achievement of the daily target.
