Uganda has registered another two COVID-19 deaths bringing the total to 35.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that both fatalities are Ugandan females aged 57 and 69 years and were residents of Kampala.
Sixty five new positive cases have been confirmed from the 4,540 samples that were taken on 3rd September.
60 of the 65 new cases are contacts and alerts. 44 are from Kampala, 6 in Gulu, 3 Bukiwe, 2 Mukono, 1 Busia, Luweero, Nakapiripirit, Nwoya and Wakiso all registered one case each. 3 are truck drivers and two are health workers.
The cumulative total confirmed cases in Uganda are now 3,353.
A total of 1,564 have so far recovered from the virus.
