A former Prime Minister of Uganda under the leadership of President Yoweri Museveni has reportedly tested positive for #Covid-19.
According to an insider at Mulago national Referral Hospital, the gentleman was discovered after his name was submitted for mandatory testing for those who are to endorse the presidential candidates for nominations tomorrow. He was reportedly among those that were supposed to escort Mr. Museveni to Kyambogo for nominations tomorrow.
Eagle Online couldn,t reveal the identity of the former PM as it could be termed as victimisation. However, they are only two PMs that are alive and have served under President Museveni and these are Mr. Kintu Musoke and John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.
Uganda has had six PM under the leadership of President Museveni and these are Dr. Samson Kisekka, Cosmas Adyebo, Kintu Musoke, Prof. Apolo Nsibambi, Amama Mbabazi and Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda. Three of the six have since died.
Sources further told Eagle Online that the former PM is now being treated and monitored at his residence.
