National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer Ojok Andrew Oulanyah has been declared the winner in the Omoro by-election.
Ojok replaces his father the late Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah, former Speaker of Parilament who passed away on March 20, 2022.
Ojok was announced the winner from Lalogi Sub County headquarters by the Omoro district returning officer Moses Kagona after scoring 14,224 of the total votes cast beating his closest rival Simon Toolit Akecha of National Unity Platform who scored 1,633 votes.
