Celebrated city evangelist Pastor Stephen Kawesa, founder and head pastor of Seguku Worship Centre commonly known as “Yesu Akwagala Church” on Monday perished in a car accident along Entebbe Road.
The popular man of God was in the company of two white missionaries, Ed Poblich and Scot Volz who also died on spot when the Toyota Prado TX they were riding in failed to stop and brake meters away from his Seguku church.
Kawesa who was the Vice-Chairman of Uganda Christian Outreach Ministries has been serving nearly thirty years founding churches, conducting crusades, teaching in Bible Schools, as well as caring for orphans and prisoners.
He is a well-respected spiritual leader here in Uganda.
