As Ugandan football fans were eagerly waiting for the 2017 AFCON draws, most of them were praying that the Uganda Cranes does not meet any of the Arab countries, Egypt in particular.
Historically, the Uganda Cranes has not had easy rides against the Arab sides.
However, the Cranes still have an advantage because they will have face Ghana and Egypt in the World Cup Qualifiers before they clash again in the AFCON finals in Gabon.
That noted, some West African soccer stars have had hard times with the Uganda Cranes, with Nigeria and Ghana all sampling the skills of the Ugandan players.
