Must read

Hours following her successful concert at Sheraton Hotel gardens, rumours began making rounds that Swangz Avenue first lady, Irene Ntale had quit the record label citing disagreement on how the proceeds from her concert were shared.

However, she was quick to dismiss the rumours. But it’s now official; she has quit Swangz Ave. Though, no reason has been given yet, the news of her departure has been confirmed by herself.

“My dearest Fans and friends, they say time flies, and today seems like one of those days when one takes it in stride to announce that after a lot of contemplation, I am officially departing from Swangz Avenue!” she announced the news Monday evening.

“I have made my intentions known to my record label and we have both come to an understanding that this is the best move forward,” she adds.

As she leaves the label that ushered her to the entertainment world, she thanked them for “the knowledge and experience I have gained there. I am truly grateful for the time I have spent with the team along with the musical and professional relationships I have built. I believe both Swangz Avenue and I have enjoyed a remarkable partnership.”

She assured her fans that her departure from Swangz Ave is not the end of her music career.

“As always I continue to work hard at my music, to give you my dearests the best I can offer and will also continue to consolidate my presence in the Industry, within Uganda and beyond. New great Music is already on the way only for you!”

She has since replaced Swangz Ave with her sister as manager. “Moving forward my bookings can be made through this contact +256-776-050406.”
