Joseph ‘Joe’ Kigozi, the previously-embattled CEO of Buganda’s TV station, the Buganda Broadcasting Services (BBS) TV has pleaded with his employees who are threatening to quit over non-payment of salaries, to stay.
Last month Kigozi was suspended on allegations of misappropriating company funds, but returned to office early this month following an investigation, and his first assignment was to assure his employees that they would finally to get their money.
According to sources, the BBS TV employees haven’t received their salaries for the last three months “despite the money to pay employees having been availed by the station’s top directors.”
