PSV 2-1 Manchester United
After a season long absence from the Champions League, Manchester United suffered their first defeat at the hands of PSV Eindhoven, a 2-0 loss with a goal that cancelled Memphis Depay’s lead strike in the 41st  minute coming from Hector Moreno in the 46th minute goal.
Then in the 56th minute Luciano Narsingh latched onto a Maxima Lesteinne cross for a second goal, earning PSV all three points.
In the game ManU left back and England international Luke Shaw suffered a broken right foot after colliding with Moreno in the 26th
minute in a match played at Phillips Stadion.

The defeat left Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils in third place of Group A, just behind PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg, who earlier in the opening game won against CSKA Moscow.
