The Cranes are set to meet Stallions in their 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier first leg tie on Saturday in Ouagadougou.
Speaking to EagleOnline, Micho said they have to get a positive result out of the two-legged affair and will have to respect the Burkinabe side.
“For us to get a good result, we need to be focused. The players should not underestimate Burkina Faso because of our recent results in West Africa and expect to collect points on a platter,” Micho said.
“They are a very strong team that has been playing together for a long time so the truth is we have a very strong away game and will approach it carefully.
“So we need to be very positive in our approach to the matches in order for us to collect the six points.”
“My boys are committed both physically and mentally but for this training (Tuesday’s), we were looking more at the tactical side. We will have to do our best to come out with a positive result.”
Foreign based players Farouk Miya (Belgium), Isaac Isinde (Ethiopia), Emmanuel Okwi (Denmark), William Luwagga Kizito(Portugal) and goalkeeper Robert Odongkara(Ethiopia) reported to the team’s training on Tuesday evening. Assistant captain Dennis Onyango (South Africa) and US based Mike Azira were the last to enter camp on Tuesday night as the team prepare to fly to Ouagadougou tomorrow.
Cranes are top of their group on maximum points, following successive wins over Botswana and Comoros.
