Bright Stars coach Fred Kajoba has been banned for four matches after allegedly attacking referee Denis Batte during their goalless draw with SC Vipers.
This was during the opening day of the season where Bright Stars played with 10 men for almost 75 minutes of the game.
The aforementioned Article (on Fufa website) reads;
A participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of; violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behavior.’
Pursuant to article 30(8), Mr Fred Kajoba has been given a four match touchline ban for AUPL matches with immediate effect.
The Uganda Premier League added that there is no chance for Kajoba to appeal.
The touch line ban will involve games against Soana (away), Mbarara City (away), Kirinya Jinja SS (home) and UPDF (away).
