Muwema provides TVO info to Facebook

Must read

City lawyer Fred Muwema has promptly replied to Facebook, giving details of the controversial Tom Voltaire Okwalinga aka TVO, who recently posted on his page that Muwema had taken a bribe of Shs900 million to pull out of the team of lawyers representing John Patrick Amama Mbabazi in the ongoing presidential petition in the Supreme Court.

TVO also claimed Muwema had stage-managed a break-in in his Kololo offices, taking off with 157 sworn affidavits which were supposed top be used in the petition, prompting the lawyer to write to Facebook.

Indeed, in his reply to the Intellectual Property Operations (department) of Facebook, Muwema gives three Uniform Resource Locators (URL) links detailing the defamatory posts, to help the company in his sought bid.

Earlier today, Facebook had written to Muwema, asking to be availed with details pertaining to TVO’s Facebook posts, one of them titled ‘Betrayal in the City’.

In the post last week, TVO, the faceless and sharp critic of the Kampala regime, intimated that Mr Muwema received a bribe of Shs900 million from Information and National Guidance Minister Maj Gen Jim Muhwezi and thereafter abandoned the 2016 presidential petition.

Below is Mr Muwema’s response letter:
